Most people choosing a training provider are weighing up three things: whether the qualification is credible, whether they will actually be able to practise afterwards, and whether they will get enough hands-on time to be any good.

Taught by a working practitioner
Your tutor still treats clients every week. What you learn is what is working in a real treatment room now, not what was written in a manual five years ago.
Never more than four students
Massage is a physical skill. In a group of four your pressure, positioning and body mechanics are corrected while you are learning them, and you get individual feedback on every training day.
Insurable on completion
Every qualification is IPHM accredited, which means you can obtain professional practitioner insurance and begin practising once you have completed, subject to your chosen insurer's requirements.
Courses that stack
Start at introductory level and progress through accredited and advanced practitioner diplomas, building towards the areas you want to specialise in rather than repeating the same ground.
Blended learning where it helps
Theory and anatomy are studied in your own time, so the days you spend in the training room are spent on the parts that genuinely need a tutor beside you.
Support after you qualify
Ongoing tutor support is included with every course. Questions do not stop when the training day ends, and neither does the help.

The Pathways Method® recognises that a treatment is an experience, not just a sequence of techniques applied to a body.
Consent, communication, boundaries, client comfort and individual responses to touch are taught on every course as core practitioner skills. You will learn how to create a treatment that is emotionally safe as well as technically correct, and how to adapt it rather than delivering the same routine to every client.

We are a registered accredited training provider with IPHM, the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine.
Accreditation is one of the first things a prospective student should check. Ours is public and verifiable.

Common questions
01Do I need previous experience?
It depends on the course. The Accredited Certificate in Introduction to Body Massage and the Advanced Body Massage Diploma are both open to complete beginners, with no previous qualification required.
Some advanced and specialist courses assume an existing massage or holistic therapy qualification. Each course page lists its own entry requirements.

02Will I be able to insure myself afterwards?
Our qualifications are IPHM accredited, which is designed to support practitioner insurance applications.
Insurance requirements vary between providers and professional bodies, so always confirm your individual requirements with your chosen insurer before beginning professional practice.
The Introduction to Body Massage certificate is an introductory qualification and does not by itself guarantee insurance eligibility for professional practice.
03What is the difference between face to face and blended learning?
Face to face means the whole course is delivered in the training room.
Blended learning means the underpinning theory and anatomy are completed as home study before you attend, using the manuals and materials we send you in advance.
The practical days are then spent almost entirely on hands-on work, which is the part that actually needs a tutor beside you.
04How many students will be on my course?
A maximum of four. This is a deliberate limit, not a scheduling accident.
Small groups allow for personalised tuition, close practical supervision, individual feedback and enough time to practise and consolidate each technique.
A minimum of two students is required for a course to run. If that minimum is not reached you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of payments made.
05How do I pay, and what is the cancellation policy?
A deposit secures your place, with the balance due no later than 10 days before the start date. You can also pay in full at the time of booking. We accept debit card, credit card, PayPal, Klarna and Clearpay.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you cancel more than 10 days before the start date, payments above the deposit may be transferred to a future date, subject to availability and agreement.

06What if the course I want has no dates yet?
Register your interest on that course page and we will contact you as soon as dates are released, before they are published on the website.
If there is enough interest in a particular course we will schedule it sooner, so telling us matters.
